Holiday Gift Guide for the Home Decor Lover

With the holidays quickly approaching I decided to share a few of my favorite things and items on my Christmas wishlist to give you some shopping ideas. Whether your shopping for the lady in your life or looking to treat yourself, you can’t go wrong with these favorites!

1. Coffee Table Books

I’ve been really into coffee table books recently, specifically design ones that I can flip through for inspiration instead of scrolling through Pinterest for the billionth time. Here are my top 3 favorites:

  1. Home Body by Joanna Gaines
  2. Live Beautiful by Athena Calderone
  3. Made for Living by Amber Lewis

2. Candle Subscription Box

I recently joined Vellabox, a candle subscription box, and have been receiving two candles in the mail every month. It is something I look forward to so much! They are handcrafted by a different small business every month so you can feel good about supporting artisans while you enjoy your new scents every month. Boxes range from $10-30 a month and with my code “CAMBELL5OFF” you’ll receive $5 off your box! These are such a great gift for friends, moms or for yourself.

3. Blow Dry Brush

I swear by this blow dryer! I haven’t used a regular hair dryer since I bought this and I get compliments on my hair every time I use it! It’s like giving yourself a blowout without any hard work.

4. Blue Light Glasses

I have a pair of these and I really notice my eyes burning when I forget to put them on. I work at a computer all day long and I can’t recommend these enough.

5. Veja Sneakers

My husband bought me a pair of these for Christmas last year and I might as well throw out the rest of my shoes because these are all that I wear. They’re very comfortable and versatile. In case you needed more convincing, Meghan Markle has a pair. So you can feel like chic royalty in these puppies.

6. Vitruvi Oil Diffuser

I have fallen in love with diffusing oils in my home this past year. No, I do sell oils or work with a company that does. I just like for my house to constantly smell like lavender and peppermint. The best part of diffusing is that you can leave it running when you leave the house and come home to a subtle, clean smelling home. I chose the Vitruvi diffuser because it looks a little like a beautiful work of art at the same time.

7. Linen Bedding

This is at the top of my wishlist this year for so many reasons. It’s pricier than normal bedding but oh so worth it! I’ve been head over heels for Parachute Linen Bedding right now and over Black Friday, they have their biggest sale of the year!!

8. Botanical Calendar

This would be such a special and thoughtful gift. Kesia Finley is an artist that I discovered on Instagram who specializes in the most beautiful, detailed drawings. She put together a collection of her botanical drawings into a 2021 calendar that is truly a work of art and only $40 for the set.

9. Cozy Pajamas

One of my favorite Christmas traditions my family has is giving everyone cozy pjs that we open together on Christmas Eve. Then we wear them to bed and all wake up to open presents in our matching sets. It might seem silly, but nothing feels more like Christmas to me than waking up in new pjs and gathering around the tree. Some of my favorites are from Old Navy or Target, but I found this nice pair from J. Crew that gives me all the cozy vibes!

10. Houseplants!

I’m a sucker for a good houseplant and The Sill ships plants in cute pots across the country! This gift will only keep on giving (cheesy, but true).

11. 2021 Planner

I’ve never been one for planners, but recently I’ve been using an online calendar and I couldn’t help but love the idea of a beautiful linen planner for the new year.

12. Ceramic Mug Set

Anthropologie really has some of the prettiest ceramics and this set of 4 is the perfect blend of organic, neutral and functional. I have these and they’re my favorite go-to for my morning cup of coffee!

13. Floral Diffuser

Speaking of Anthropologie, the last time I was in the store I fell in love with this beautiful alternative to a typical reed diffuser. Rather than wooden sticks, it uses dainty dried floral combinations to diffuse scented oils into the air. This is such a classy, thoughtful gift in my opinion.

14. Wooden Serving Board

A serving board like this large wooden one is my go-to gift when I’ve run out of ideas. Pair it with a bottle of wine and some cute cheese knives and you’ve given someone the perfect tools to host or have a night-in with friends!

15. Handheld Milk Frother

This might seem like an unusual gift, but it’s one of those things people don’t think to buy themselves but could always use! It’s the perfect tool to create latte art, froth your milk of choice, or even use it to mix Crystal Light powder like my husband does (lol).

I really hope this list of my favorites helps you find some new favorites of your own, or gives you some good gift ideas for someone you love!
