Inspired Me Lately

“Inspired me lately” is a new series I’ll be starting every other Friday where I share accounts, artists and creators that have, well, inspired me lately. Something I can never get enough of is seeing something that makes me feel something. It’s my hope that by sharing some beauty with you, you’ll feel inspired too. 

So grab your favorite drink of choice, turn on your favorite playlist (I’m currently loving this one), and get inspired! Happy Friday, babes.

1. Athena Calderone

I mean, you know I had to start off strong. If you aren’t already familiar with Athena (I’ll try not to hold it against you), she is basically a goddess of…everything? She is a creative that specializes in cooking, entertaining, design, decor and lifestyle. So…yeah, everything. When she’s not whipping up a culinary masterpiece, she’s designing a table around it. Then she’ll design a kitchen and a home and so on. I fell madly in love with her Brooklyn townhouse when New York Magazine shared this amazing tour.

2. Jaci Daly

My girl, Jaci! First of all, she’s the cutest human. You might know her because of the “found pot” DIY that took Instagram by storm. She literally covered a pot in dirt and it’s a work of art. Try it– everyone else is! Anywho, she just renovated her home and it’s all of my neutral-loving dreams come true!

I am constantly swooning over her breakfast nook!

3. Morgan Harper Nichols

You might not recognize the name, but you’d recognize the initials. Pretty much any beautiful, uplifting quote you’ve seen on Pinterest has that MHN on it somewhere.

Morgan is a light. She has no doubt been the source of inspiration for so many–myself included. I have a whole Pinterest board for positivity that’s made up of 90% MHN art!

Her pieces would also make the best phone wallpapers!

4. Christine Higgs

When I think of one person I am constantly going to for inspiration, Christine is at the top of that list. I feel like she’s my creative soul sister (that doesn’t know I exist).

For reference, just LOOK at her Instagram feed!!! To quote Lizzie McGuire, “Have you ever seen such a beautiful sight??”

What stands out to me is that her color palette and design style are so evident at first glance! Her home is neutral and clean with vintage wood accents, plants, and dreamy texture all around. It gives me CHILLS, guys!
